Mirror, originally uploaded by Racergirl1313.

A&W was packed lastnight. For a while there you couldn't find a spot in their lot. Only 4 Bugs lastnight, but that's ok. This is my favorite photo from lastnight. Enjoy!

HArvest, originally uploaded by Racergirl1313.

This morning I spent my time at the Royal Oak Farmer's market. Not only did I come home with a bag full of delicious goodies, but I also came home with a camera full of photos!

I met a number of nice and interesting people. Many people asked me if I was taking a photo class, one gentleman and I discussed DSLR's, and one man even asked if he had to sign a model release! I tried not to take pictures of people who didn't know I was photographing them. The woman in the photos has a booth full of interesting things, including a whole rack of silly glasses. She was nice enough to allow me to take her picture. It was a great morning!

I have uploaded a number of my favorites to my Flickr site, so go take a look!

New Camera Bag!

My photo backpack arrived today! It is the Lowepro Slingshot 200 AW. I liked it because I won't have to put my bag down to take out my camera when I want to take a photo. It also received some nice reviews.

Photos taken with my HP R967.

Home Improvements - Crafting Area

Monday night Fred put up my Ikea rods in my crafting nook. I was so excited to finally get them up and I think they look great! Right now they are empty, but I am sure they will soon be filled. To the right you can just barely see my quilting cart which has a ton of work space once it is rolled out and set up, not to mention a ton of storage too!

This is the other part of my crafting nook (a little messy right now, but I am still organizing). These shelves were in th house when we bought it. However, they are made of MDF and the previous owner only painted the front of the shelves and the top. A few months ago, I took out a few shelves, painted the inside of the cubby and both sides of the shelves which I think made them look "finished" finally. I think they turned out great.
